For most couples, the answer is no. At Bear Brook Valley, you’re supported by a dedicated in‑house wedding coordinating team of four whose role is to guide you throughout the planning process and manage the full flow of your wedding day.
Our coordinators provide thoughtful guidance, trusted vendor recommendations, timeline development, and ongoing support leading up to the celebration. On the wedding day itself, they oversee logistics, communication, and timing behind the scenes, ensuring everything unfolds seamlessly while you remain fully present.
Some couples choose to work with a wedding planner for additional, hands‑on planning support, and we’re always happy to collaborate when that’s the case. However, many couples find that the level of coordination and guidance provided by our in‑house team feels complete and comforting.

Located in one of New Jersey’s most beautifully preserved regions, our setting feels secluded yet remains conveniently accessible. For wedding parties, we suggest staying at the Napa House, our Airbnb partner only 2 minutes away that can host up to 21 guests. Additionally, within a 30-minute drive, there are various hotel choices including the recently renovated Holiday Inn Express in Newton, only 2 miles away, and the Courtyard Marriott in Mount Arlington, which is 20 miles away.
