Places to Decorate Throughout the Venue

Although the beauty of the venue speaks for itself, there are plenty of spaces to decorate and add your personal touches throughout the venue to make it your own. At Bear Brook Valley, we provide just about everything you need to display your wedding decor! Here are the main spots that couples decorate on their wedding days.

Seating Chart Area

The seating chart area is located at the base of the stairs that lead from cocktail hour up to the reception space. You are more than welcome to use the table to display your seating chart or escort cards, or we can move it if you don’t need a table.

This table is to the right of the seating chart area and to the left of the women’s bathroom in the cocktail hour space. Feel free to decorate the table or leave it as is.

This table is situated directly across from the seating chart area. You can leave it as is, use it as a guest book table, or display in memory of photos here.

This table is located in the cocktail hour space and is where we often place the guest book and card box.

The Piano

The piano is typically used as a memorial table or a generations of love table. We’ve also had couples put their ceremony programs here after the ceremony.

Cocktail Tables

Most couples choose to leave the cocktail tables empty, but if you want to dress them up, a simple bud vase or photos will do! Or you can put out games like bride and groom, Mary and Zach did!

Rotunda

The Rotunda is where your guests will enter when coming in from the waterside or Stables ceremony. We have a table that can be left empty or used for your guest book, card box, photos, or ceremony programs. Couples also use the rotunda to display their welcome signs or selfie mirrors.

The Staircase Ledge

These are the stairs that the guests will walk up from cocktail hour to reception. Couples often display engagement photos or photos throughout the years of their relationship on the ledge. One of our brides was a teacher, so she displayed artwork that her students created!

Ceremony Barrels

There are barrels placed on either side of the aisle in the waterside ceremony space. Couples often use them for their ceremony programs, tissues, fans, dried floral toss, etc.

Favor Tables

There are two matching tables at the top of the reception space stairs by the front entrance doors. This is where we typically place your wedding favors!

Sweetheart Table

We provide a wooden and a greenery insert for the sweetheart table accent wall, or you can keep it open and decorate it however you’d like!
