Save the Dates

With the influx of weddings, Marlie Renee suggests sending out save the dates 8-10 months before your wedding. Before the wedding boom, she would have suggested mailing them 6-10 months prior to your wedding day.

If you are getting married on or around a holiday or having a destination wedding, send your save the dates out 10-12 months so that guests can plan accordingly.

Wedding Invitations

Mail your wedding invitations 8-12 weeks before your wedding day, with 10 weeks out being the sweet spot.

Marlie Renee says that RSVP due dates should be about one month before the big day, but ask your NJ wedding venue what they suggest. We agree with Marlie; 1 month is perfect!

Wedding Website

Create a wedding website so that guests have a place to find all of the info they'll need for your wedding. Include your website on the Save the Dates and the invitations. With a wedding website, you can make real-time updates and elaborate on all things related to your wedding. You can include your love story, photos, your wedding party, registry, accommodations and transportation, and more!
